Red Fringing

Leather Dress - ASOS | Crotchet Top - New Look | Hat - New Look | Fringed Boots - Topshop

Hey guys, hope you're having a good week! I've been spending mine recovering from Parklife and preparing for Venice on Sunday! I forgot how much I hate planning outfits ahead so that's been fun, but it's in touching distance now so if anyone has any hints or tips of what to do and eat (gluten free options preferred aha!) please let me know :-)

My style has changed so much this year and I'm so much more into floaty clothes and have worn this crotchet top to death. So much so that I even caught it on my watch and ripped a massive hole in it! Uh oh, still doesn't stop me wearing it though... I paired it with a simple LBD to add a good contrast but kept the hippy vibes flowing with my favourite red fringed boots from Topshop.

I will be scheduling posts for while I'm away and forcing my boyfriend to actually do my outfit photos whilst in Venice so I will be returning will hopefully some lovely locations shoots for once!

Fringe X Leather

White Shirt - Topshop | Fringe Leather Skirt - Topshop | Contrast Boots - Topshop | Sunglasses - ASOS

Wow, you know sometimes you don't realise that you might have a shopping problem when nearly every bit of your outfit is from Topshop... Yeah that. I love fringe this season, I own two very different fringe skirts which I adore and I am queen of not wearing colour and this is a perfect example of me doing that.

Today, I submitted my last ever piece of coursework so I really really done with university education now! Unless I have managed to fail my exams again... But we shall see! So now I am preparing for Parklife this weekend and then Venice the weekend after :D so if anyone has any tips or top places to see in Venice please comment below

Red Fever

Dungarees - ASOS | Top - H&M | Pumas - Schuh

Dungarees are one of those trends I've always gazed fondly upon to realise I am not cool enough to wear, until I get bored and wear them anyway. I love these because they combine my two favourite things; leather and black. And they automatically jazz up an outfit to make it look like you made loads of effort when you really didn't!

Teamed with some simple pieces so not to distract from the babes that the dungarees are, I think this outfit is perfect to substitute the usual jeans and tee combo, but still feel comfortable.

What do you think of the dungarees trend?

Knee High Behaviour

Camel Coat - Next | Jumper - H&M | Peplum Skirt - H&M | Knee High Boots - JustFab

Knee high boots are one of the biggest trends of this Autumn/Winter so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I bought these boots from the most amazing website called JustFab where you pay monthly for a bargain of shoes but as a first time customer you get 50% off so they only cost me 17 quid! I feel a bit Pretty Woman in them but I think they look okay. Let me know what you guys think.

I teamed the boots with my favourite camel coat and jumper, a perfect match to my hair! Today was quite warm for October and Lancaster so I dared to bare my legs to make a full impact in these boots. I really like this outfit, its a good transition into full on winter fashion.

How would you style these boots? Would you like me to do a series of how to wear posts?

Floaty Friday

Crotchet Top - New Look | Leather Jacket - H&M | Jeans - ASOS | Mules - Faith | Fedora - ASOS

Not gonna lie, this is one of my favourite outfits I've ever worn/posted on here. I'm love with this floaty hippy crotchet beauty I discovered in the New Look sale last week. There have been so many long sleeved lace tops on the high street this summer and none of them tickled my fancy, but this. This ticks every box. Teamed with my amazing ripped jeans, which when my mum saw them, she just sighed. I have now realised I only own 2 pairs of none ripped jeans... Oops. Topped up with my trusty fedora and my own so gorgeous mules, this outfit has flew the top ranks of all time favourite get together.

So not only am I in love with my outfit, but it's also Friday!!! I've finished work training until Tuesday, only have one introduction lecture this afternoon and then I'm free to celebrate one of my beautiful best friend's 21st all weekend long!

Happy Friday (or Friyay as I like to call it now) guys!

Muling Around

Duster Coat - ASOS | Drop Waist Dress - ASOS | Mules - Faith

What fresh hell is this, Elena wearing a dress? I don't know what has happened to our normal October weather but I'm loving steering clear of the tights for a couple days longer. As you know, I don't like dresses particularly but this one caught me as its so sporty and casual, it's basically like wearing a massive t-shirt but looks better. Dresses always tend to make me look shorter than I already am, so I teamed it with my new favourite shoe of the year, my mules. How I've never owned mules before, I do not know. And of course, because it is actual still October and not that warm although I'm pretending it is, I threw on top my trusty duster coat to keep me warm when my legs turn purple.

Double Denim Problems

Denim Shirt - Zara | Jeans - ASOS | Loafers - ASOS

Well today is typical lancaster day, i.e. It rains all day. Kind of starting to realise running a blog while at university is bloody hard, but the next sunny day I get I will be out and about shooting outfit photos for you guys. But I do have my trusty tripod, and this is something I wore about a week ago. Double and even triple denim is seriously hot right now and I am loving embracing this fashion faux par as some people view it. I'm currently eying up a denim jacket to add another denim element to this look, because you might aswell go all out! Light blue works really well with blonde hair I think, so I'm so into washed out denim as my hair gets gradually lighter day by day.

I decided to pair the denim with these loafers, because they add a smarter element to the look, and a bit of a contrast to all the soft denim.

What do you guys think of double/triple denim?
