Vibey

Top - ASOS | Skirt - MinkPink | Knee High Boots - JustFab | Hat - ASOS

So today was the day I submitted my dissertation, a 4000 word essay and a piece of coding coursework, all in readiness for finishing university. And boy am I glad it's coming to an end. People who say university and 3rd year is easy, do not study a Computer Science degree! But now I can finally get back into normality for a little while before I start revising for my last ever exams...

Anyway, this outfit is absolutely perfect to post on a day like today, it's been so beautiful! I am loving the whole 70's vibe at the moment, you might have noticed... So I couldn't wait to team up suede, floaty shirts and a fedora together. All topped off with a pair of knee highs and I was feeling quite whimsical. Might need to start applying some more fake tan before I expose my legs again... #palegirlproblems

Floaty Friday

Crotchet Top - New Look | Leather Jacket - H&M | Jeans - ASOS | Mules - Faith | Fedora - ASOS

Not gonna lie, this is one of my favourite outfits I've ever worn/posted on here. I'm love with this floaty hippy crotchet beauty I discovered in the New Look sale last week. There have been so many long sleeved lace tops on the high street this summer and none of them tickled my fancy, but this. This ticks every box. Teamed with my amazing ripped jeans, which when my mum saw them, she just sighed. I have now realised I only own 2 pairs of none ripped jeans... Oops. Topped up with my trusty fedora and my own so gorgeous mules, this outfit has flew the top ranks of all time favourite get together.

So not only am I in love with my outfit, but it's also Friday!!! I've finished work training until Tuesday, only have one introduction lecture this afternoon and then I'm free to celebrate one of my beautiful best friend's 21st all weekend long!

Happy Friday (or Friyay as I like to call it now) guys!

Love Me Hate Me

Fedora - New Look | White Shirt - H&M | Blazer - H&M | Jeans - ASOS | Clutch - Zara | Trainers - JD Sports

I basically live in white shirts nowadays so I thought I'd start doing a series of pieces on how I like to style them up, for casual and smart.

This look is one that would work during the day, perhaps to go shopping with friends or for travelling but could be easily changed up and made more appropriate for evening attire with a pair of barely there heels and a bit of lipstick.

I recently bought this blazer during H&M's 25% promotion (check it out online and in store if you haven't yet!) as I've never owned a really smart jacket that would work with most things and can easily make a pair of scruffy jeans look grown up!

I toned down the smartness of this look with the addition of the Nike's and then added a dash of colour with this bright clutch from Zara, as I do love a good slogan!

I'm currently away on holiday but will reply to all comments on my return.

Casual Parisian

Fedora - ASOS | Blazer - ASOS | Tee - M&S | Jeans - New Look | Desert Boots - Topshop | Bag - Primark | Sunglasses - ASOS

Today I went to the Lowry in Salford to view the exhibition and browse the outlet stores and I spied the perfect photo op next to the river. My photographer (sister) is back in my life so expect many more outfit posts for me! This is a very normal outfit for me, just the right level of casual but with my own unique feel. I love the Parisian look of simplistic outfits and I feel this fits very well into that category by combining classic cuts like my blazer with casual everyday items like my skinny jeans.

By now you'll know that I don't really do colour in my outfits so I like combat the monochrome effect with little features like my grey fedora and my beige desert boots. I've become very attached to simplistic jewellery in gold, I have zero time for statement right now so I have built up quite a collection of delicate rings, bracelets and necklaces.

And you might have noticed that I'm gradually lightning my hair using L'oreal Lightning Gel, which is doing an amazing job by the way! If you'd like a full review let me know, I know how troublesome lightning hair can be!
