Fred

Hat - Fred Perry | Duster Coat - ASOS | Top - H&M | Leather Trousers - New Look | Slip On's - Asos | Bag - Zara

I told you I was back for good! I've gone back to university this week so I using my many photographers to my advantage, in which I shot FIVE outfit's today for you guys. So look forward to those coming your way!

This is what I wore to university today, pretty chilled but I like to actually show what I wear rather than something I'd like to wear. This duster coat has appeared constantly on the blog and it is my baby, a bit too thin for winter but it's all about layering! My new favourite knitted item is my Fred Perry hat, which my lovely boyfriend bought my for Christmas and it is my first ever item from Fred Perry, hopefully the start of many more...

As you can also see my hair is a lot more naturale now, and I bloody love it. This is truly the longest it's ever been so you guys are lucky to see it during my good hair stage of my life.

I've just finished shooting some outfit posts with UniDays, a guide of ways to wear your jeans without looking the same everyday! So this will be posted throughout the week and hopefully by UniDays too!

Am I Sandy from Grease now?

Khaki Tee - Zara | Midi Skirt - Boohoo | Trainers - Zara | Doctor's Bag - Zara | Sunglasses - Primark

Until recently I steered well clear on any skirt in remotely deemed as midi but now I can't get enough of it! I've actually had this skirt from Boohoo sat in my wardrobe for months but have struggled to style it up.Then I just decided to bite the bullet and pair with a tee and trainers for a preppy look on drugs. I really feel like Sandy from Grease (good Sandy) in this skirt and it's probably one of its attractions.

By using a neutral coloured t-shirt, I'm not distracting from the skirt and by pairing it with all white trainers, it puts emphasis on the white element of the outfit. I also love how the t-shirt deceiving looks completely plain until you look at the back, which features slogan embroidery. Another 10/10 from Zara.

This outfit is quite different to my usual shirt/jeans combo so let me know what you think and how you would style this midi skirt, help me out guys!

Blue Lagoon

Denim Shirt - Zara | Grey Marl Skirt - H&M | Snakeprint Boots - ASOS | Silk Clutch - Topshop | Sunglasses - Topshop

How ace is this September sunshine that's currently gracing us with its presence?! I for one, am both enjoying getting my legs out and steering clear of tights for a bit longer, but also longing to pull on my jumpers and layer up!

This look is probably the most colourful I'm gonna get. I'm really into blue denim and bought this shirt to pair up with my ripped up blue jeans once the sun runs away, as I sneer in the face of double denim haters. When teamed with grey, it gives the perfect casual/normcore look, perfect for a chilled day at home. To add a bit of edge, I added my snakeprint boots as we all know I love my black and white patterns and popped on my new Topshop purchases of my new silk seatbeat clutch (because I like pretending I own a car) and my Elton John sunnies.

How would you style blue denim?

My New Leather Baby

Leather Jacket - Pull & Bear | Stripe Tee - Laura Ashley | Dungarees - New Look | Loafers - Zara

Blog, meet my new leather jacket. Once upon a time, I picked up a steal of a white leather jacket in a charity shop and wore it constantly throughout 1st and 2nd year of uni. Then I came home for summer and my mum made me it throw it out because it was 'vile'. Heart, broken. So then the hunt began for the replacement and it was a hunt indeed. After months of listless searching, I stumbled upon this beauty from Pull & Bear on ASOS. White? Tick. Leather? Tick. In the sale? Tick. Discount code running? Tick. It had to be mine.

Expect to see much more of this baby. Regarding the rest of my outfit, I decided to revert back to my childhood days, and pull on a pair of dungarees with a stripe tee. Am I about to turn 21, yes, yes I am. I just love the combo of blue and white, so refreshing and clean.

You also may have noticed my hair is a lot lighter and brighter and therefore beautiful and I also shaved a cheeky undercut into the side of my head because I'm an emo at heart.

What do you think of coloured leather jackets?

White Shirt 101

Sunglasses - ASOS | White Shirt - H&M | Shorts - New Look | Slip On's - ASOS | Bag - Zara

Another outfit showing off the benefits of owning a white shirt. I love the classic look of wearing all white so decided to give it a stab by teaming these white shorts with my shirt. All white isn't something I usually go for, being so pale and blonde but I think by teaming it with black accessories I've managed to pull it off. Using my dream Zara bag again, and my favourite comfy shoes, I think this outfit is perfect for going into the city for lunch or on holiday during the day when keeping cool is the ultimate aim. And as the weather starts to get colder, this look can easily be brought into Autumn by adding a duster coat or leather jacket.

I'm currently away on holiday but will reply to all comments on my return.

Going Out Out

Vest Top - ASOS | Skirt - Zara | Heels - ASOS | Clutch - Primark

This outfit was something I wore a few weeks ago when I went with some friends. I struggle to dress for going out as I find my style very manly/oversized/not glitzy enough for the clubbing scene in my home town. Rather then wear something I'm not comfortable in, I settled on this vest and skirt combo, with the addition of leather adding a level of dressiness but still being myself with the neutral colour palette.

As a 5"2 girl, I rarely wear heels as everyone already knows I'm teeny tiny but I'm trying to branch out and so invested in these shoe boots from ASOS. I know they'll look just as perfect with a bashed up pair of jeans as they do with a skirt and I can't wear to make them a main part of wardrobe.

What's in Lockett's Pockets Bag?

I've seen many bloggers do a "what's in my bag" piece so thought I'd join the team. My new choice bag of the moment is this doctor's bag from Zara, big enough to fit my laptop but not too overwhelming I can't use it for everyday use. It has 2 large inside pockets for keys and all those bits I'm scared I might lose (gym key, pound tokens, hairslides...)

Inside my bag can be found the usual belongings of 20 year old student. A purse full of receipts from my ill-gotten gains. Both iPhone & iPod Touch as I'm an Apple addict. My favourite sunglasses as I like options. My actual glasses as I'm legally blind in one eye but pretend not to be. Various make up items depending on what my favourite product is of the moment (right now its Rimmel London Kate Moss Mascara & Eyeko Eyeliner). A notebook in case I get blogging inspiration. Ted Baker bodyspray. And lastly, my ASOS gold watch as I always forget to put it on when I leave the house so it lives in my bag to give me more chance of wearing it!

So there you go. A lovely insight into my bag and my daily goings on really. What do you always have in your bag?

Love Me Hate Me

Fedora - New Look | White Shirt - H&M | Blazer - H&M | Jeans - ASOS | Clutch - Zara | Trainers - JD Sports

I basically live in white shirts nowadays so I thought I'd start doing a series of pieces on how I like to style them up, for casual and smart.

This look is one that would work during the day, perhaps to go shopping with friends or for travelling but could be easily changed up and made more appropriate for evening attire with a pair of barely there heels and a bit of lipstick.

I recently bought this blazer during H&M's 25% promotion (check it out online and in store if you haven't yet!) as I've never owned a really smart jacket that would work with most things and can easily make a pair of scruffy jeans look grown up!

I toned down the smartness of this look with the addition of the Nike's and then added a dash of colour with this bright clutch from Zara, as I do love a good slogan!

Mix & Match

Striped Tee - M&S | Leopard Print Skort - New Look | Duster Coat - ASOS | Platforms - ASOS | Bag - Zara | Sunglasses - Primark

I regularly go to Instagram for inspiration and saw a few posts combining stripes and leopard so decided to give it a shot myself!

I love the mix of the busy leopard print with the calm stripes of my tee and then balancing it out with my grey duster coat. As the combo of patterns is the main focal point of this look, I decided to keep everything else very monochrome, pairing it with my favourite Baby Spice Platforms and my new baby, my doctor's bag from Zara.

I mentioned this bag in my Zara wishlist and just knew I'd never be able to resist its beauty, so practically ran to Zara Manchester and bagged the last one! And I was right, it's beautiful, it fits my laptop and it goes with everything. Investment piece? I think so.
