Traffic Light Orange

Tunic Top - ASOS White | Jeans - ASOS | Contrast Boots - Topshop

Hey guys, I'm currently away in Venice so I scheduled this so I didn't desert my blog again. This orange tunic is one of my favourite buys from ASOS, from their high end range ASOS range and literally goes with so many things. I love pairing blonde hair with orange, it's a really interesting combination. & these boots are just insane.

Hope you're having a good week x

Shoes are a Girls Best Friend

Mule Loafers - Topshop | Leather Pointed Boots - ASOS | Black Boots - ASOS

So you must know by now that I really like shoes. Shiny, patent, boots, trainers, loafers. Basically I have a massive shoe addiction, which became really apparent when I had to choose which ones to take to uni! Not that stops me from making a shoe wishlist...

I mostly buy my shoes from ASOS (surprise) and Topshop and their footwear are on form this Autumn/Winter. I love any mule type shoe and these silver mule loafers are like my dream shoe combo, and what could be better than a shoe that doesn't rub your ankle?! As Winter is kicking in, I obviously need another pair of boots... These two are my top picks, pointed shoes are the best and so so flattering to any outfit, they elongate legs and everything. I love leather but there's something about the ponte material with the snakeskin tips that makes me really happy. Trainers are still super in and fit so well with the 90's normcore trend and these Gola ones are very similar to the Adidas Stan Smith's, but for only £20! Lastly, these Topshop flatforms are SO similar to the Stella MacCartney flatforms, but for a bargain £35, how can I refuse?!

What shoes are you feeling this A/W?

Reaching Higher Heights

As you may know by now, I'm only a little student (5"2 to be exact) and regularly depend on platform shoes to help bring me up to everyone else's height (being called shortie soon becomes boring). But there's only so much a platform slip on can do before you call in the help of heels.

I don't do normal heels, they're too girly and altogether too uncomfortable so I decided to give heeled boots/platforms a go. The shoe boots were a bargain find on ASOS, now only £10! A perfect piece to bring a bit of texture into a monochrome look, and smarten up a pair of jeans too. The added appeal of a pointed tip and I was won over.

My other latest addition to my heeled footwear collection is the platform heels. I love a pair of all white shoes and these are the smarter version of the Van Slip On's I adore. Sadly, the only downfall of these shoes is due to their all white nature, they pick up dirt like no ones business, as shown in these photos.

I'm currently away on holiday but will reply to all comments on my return.

Going Out Out

Vest Top - ASOS | Skirt - Zara | Heels - ASOS | Clutch - Primark

This outfit was something I wore a few weeks ago when I went with some friends. I struggle to dress for going out as I find my style very manly/oversized/not glitzy enough for the clubbing scene in my home town. Rather then wear something I'm not comfortable in, I settled on this vest and skirt combo, with the addition of leather adding a level of dressiness but still being myself with the neutral colour palette.

As a 5"2 girl, I rarely wear heels as everyone already knows I'm teeny tiny but I'm trying to branch out and so invested in these shoe boots from ASOS. I know they'll look just as perfect with a bashed up pair of jeans as they do with a skirt and I can't wear to make them a main part of wardrobe.

It's haul o'clock!

Desert Boots - Topshop | Metallic Trousers - H&M | Tee - H&M | Shirt - H&M | Culottes - Topshop | Bangle - Topshop

So I thought I'd move away from ASOS for a little bit and focus on some other stores that have been rocking my shopping world recently. Now I look at these photos, I'm shocked and stunned to see there is no black items included, seeing as I'm going through a bit of a Mortica Addams phase.

I'm very much feeling neutral colours at the moment, especially as my current style choices revolve around Normcore. I've always wanted a pair of desert boots and when they were going for a tenner online on Topshop, how could I turn them away? They're surprisingly comfy as I always struggle with Topshop shoes and provide a dash of warmth to my usually cool colour scheme. The culottes were a spur of the moment purchase, and now the sun has run away so lord knows when I'll get to wear them. Maybe with a long sleeved jumper and duster coat, topped up with a fedora? Ooh I've just convinced myself!

H&M are so on point right now, and I've already featured both the trousers and shirt in outfit posts as they're too delicious for me to stay away from! Check out the trousers here and shirt here. I don't have many grey tees, surprisingly, so decided to invest in a nice slogan tee that will look good with jeans, trousers and shorts!

So there's my ill gotten gains! Apologises for the lack of outfit posts, currently drowning in computing revision (uni is fun) but I will be back from Friday most likely but don't hold me to that!

We be haulin' haulin' haulin' haulin'

Sadly none of these shoes are available online.

I have always admired Zara from a far but never really paid it much attention due to being scared of the prices. And then I discovered this season's sale online... I fell in love with the pointed white loafers but cruelly they were out of stock in my size online and in my local store. But yet again the shopping gods paid me a favour and grated me a pair of size 5's in the Glasgow branch of Zara.

I've got a bad obsession with boots at the moment (very useful in the midst of summer) so when I found these beige leather cut out boots also in Glasgow I couldn't leave them behind. With their slight pointed toe, they add a much needed dash of colour into my very monochrome wardrobe.

Lastly, I'm still very much into my trainer 'thang' and as I can't justify another pair of Nike Roshe Run in all white, these Zara equivalents will have to fill the hole in my heart.

What shoes have been stealing your hearts recently? And has anyone else been very naughty during this seasons sales, please make me feel better! I've been very spendy at ASOS and H&M so let me know if you'd like a haul post about either of those stores :-)
