Mini ASOS/Topshop Haul

Platformed Mules - Topshop

So I realised that I haven't done a haul in forever which is strange as I'm constantly buying even though I'm meant to be a poor poor student, thank Mary and Joseph for my job to keep my ASOS addiction going.

Here's a few pieces I picked up in the last week, as winter has well and truly hit us up in the North, I stocked up on some warm jumpers for those days where I have 9am classes and really can't handle putting thought into my outfits. The grey one was a random find on ASOS, made of bonded fabric for the body then a light cotton for the sleeves, giving the whole piece a really interesting and warm look! The other jumper is a classic roll neck in camel, as I love camel too much right now. My favourite pairing is camel on camel which I think looks so classic and simple.

With the mid-season sales hitting the stores, I couldn't resist purchasing two new pairs of platforms. Platforms are my favourite type of shoe, being only a tiny 5"2 girl. The weaved pair from ASOS are very similar to the Stella McCartney leather versions very popular this season. I wore these on Friday and wow, those platforms are heavy. But I adore them. The other pair are from Topshop, but this time they are muled loafers. I love mules, they don't hurt my feet and they look so different to any other shoe. I don't own any silver shoes, so its a nice change to my monochrome wardrobe.

Lastly, I stocked up on loads of new gold rings, that I can wear in so many different combinations. My favourite of the bunch being, the double pearl ring as its very easy to wear.

What do you think of my buys?

Shopping like a Rich Person

H&M - Grey Marl Trend Collection Jumper | Sweatshirt Skirt

Topshop - Strap Clutch

I love fashion right now. Everything is amazing, I'm so into the normcore trend and I feel so revitalised blogging wise, with so many outfit ideas that I'm actually proud of. So basically that's my excuse for all these things I bought this week.

After my holiday, I felt like I was missing a limb because I hadn't been checking ASOS obsessively 24/7. Probably a good thing, but as soon as humanly possible I made a little order. I'd had my eye on these white leather trousers for a long time, a very bold piece, that will take careful styling or I might look a teeny tiny bit stupid. But I love them with all my heart, I think they'll look just right with a plain tee and pointy shoes. Which is why I just had to buy this v neck tee, as I love the colour and I don't actually own any v neck cut tee's! I don't wear a lot of dresses so I'm trying to branch out with this drop waist navy dress, I love the preppy feel the Z gives it and I think it'll love awesome with a duster coat and my all white trainers.

Next, to my second favourite store in the whole wide world, H&M. H&M recently launched their Trend A/W Collection and it's out of this world. Amazingly classic pieces, with a funky twist, I still have my eye on the shaggy coat. A wonderful mix of silk, wool, beads and chiffon, 10 out of 10 to H&M. After ogling the collection in the Manchester, I bit the bullet and ran head first to the changing rooms with this marled sweatshirt. With its multiple zips and baggy shape, it's a dream and perfect for this season. Possibly one of my favourite buys from H&M ever. Whilst I was crying over the jumper, I spied a very similar mini skirt, in similar material, with a jazzy flared out effect on the trim. Tried on with the jumper and I was over. I think I like grey right now.

Lastly, I've been hunting for yet another clutch as all I do is my clutches and this Topshop babe won my heart. Another interesting design, with its seatbeat fastening and silk material, its just the right level of classy for Elena.

What do you guys think of my ill gotten gains?

It's haul o'clock!

Desert Boots - Topshop | Metallic Trousers - H&M | Tee - H&M | Shirt - H&M | Culottes - Topshop | Bangle - Topshop

So I thought I'd move away from ASOS for a little bit and focus on some other stores that have been rocking my shopping world recently. Now I look at these photos, I'm shocked and stunned to see there is no black items included, seeing as I'm going through a bit of a Mortica Addams phase.

I'm very much feeling neutral colours at the moment, especially as my current style choices revolve around Normcore. I've always wanted a pair of desert boots and when they were going for a tenner online on Topshop, how could I turn them away? They're surprisingly comfy as I always struggle with Topshop shoes and provide a dash of warmth to my usually cool colour scheme. The culottes were a spur of the moment purchase, and now the sun has run away so lord knows when I'll get to wear them. Maybe with a long sleeved jumper and duster coat, topped up with a fedora? Ooh I've just convinced myself!

H&M are so on point right now, and I've already featured both the trousers and shirt in outfit posts as they're too delicious for me to stay away from! Check out the trousers here and shirt here. I don't have many grey tees, surprisingly, so decided to invest in a nice slogan tee that will look good with jeans, trousers and shorts!

So there's my ill gotten gains! Apologises for the lack of outfit posts, currently drowning in computing revision (uni is fun) but I will be back from Friday most likely but don't hold me to that!

Bet you didn't expect an ASOS haul...

All ASOS (dur)

Now in the short time I've been writing this blog, it's become very apparent how much I love ASOS, buy everything from ASOS, basically need help with my ASOS addiction. And awkwardly I'm about to make another order but this is what I've compiled over the past month.

There's quite a grey theme running through these items which I've only just noticed but at least I'm moving slightly away from my black and white obsession (says this whilst sat wearing black top and white jeans.) I already have a really wide brim black fedora but I decided to pick this light grey version as it works really well when I need to lighten up an all black ensemble and it will work both in summer and winter.

I've pretty much decided summer is over and Autumn is upon us so a lot of my latest purchases certainly have a warmer feel about them. It dawned upon me I didn't have a lot of ankle boots so I preceded to buy 2 new pairs (probably 3 at this rate!) I picked this snake print ones as they're a bit snazzier than your usual black ankle boots and they look amazing with both jeans and dresses.

These are my third pair of ASOS jeans, they're the Whitby cut and pretty much my perfect jean. Not too long (5"2 problems) and not too low waistband. I used to live in my black New Look high waisted jeans so needed a similar pair so I wasn't wearing the same pair of jeans day in day out. I love the ripped knee although a lot of my friends like commenting on whether I forgot to rip the other knee (har de har)

As I've decided it's Autumn, I've been buying a lot of jacket/coats/capes and this blazer is absolutely perfect to bring in the warmer Autumn months as it's light weight but big enough so I can layer plenty of jumpers underneath but also quite smart as I enter my 3rd year of university I might need some smarter clothes for interviews *cry*

I love really simple tops, and this grey ripped kimono top is both simple yet clever at the same. Not your normal plain V neck tee, it has a kind of lamp shape to it which I adore and it looks great with both jeans and skirts.

Lastly, I've been having a bit of a tough time recently (resits, break up, life) so I bought this simple charm necklace with the engraving "HAPPY" to remind me things are okay. I know that's really lame but it's those little things that get me through the day and it works really well with all my other current favourites jewellery wise (if you'd like to see my daily jewellery pieces please comment below!)

So there you go. There are some of the things I've been burning my money away on (hurry up payday/student loan day). Let me know what pieces you dig. My photographer (sister) is finally finishing work today so I'll be back posting regular outfit posts from tomorrow hopefully!

We be haulin' haulin' haulin' haulin'

Sadly none of these shoes are available online.

I have always admired Zara from a far but never really paid it much attention due to being scared of the prices. And then I discovered this season's sale online... I fell in love with the pointed white loafers but cruelly they were out of stock in my size online and in my local store. But yet again the shopping gods paid me a favour and grated me a pair of size 5's in the Glasgow branch of Zara.

I've got a bad obsession with boots at the moment (very useful in the midst of summer) so when I found these beige leather cut out boots also in Glasgow I couldn't leave them behind. With their slight pointed toe, they add a much needed dash of colour into my very monochrome wardrobe.

Lastly, I'm still very much into my trainer 'thang' and as I can't justify another pair of Nike Roshe Run in all white, these Zara equivalents will have to fill the hole in my heart.

What shoes have been stealing your hearts recently? And has anyone else been very naughty during this seasons sales, please make me feel better! I've been very spendy at ASOS and H&M so let me know if you'd like a haul post about either of those stores :-)
